Update: October 2021:

Following the relaxing of lockdown measures at the beginning of the summer, we have been running all types of flights at Polar Helicopters but with some new procedures in place. These procedures will remain in place until further notice.


Procedures in place on the day of your flight:

• We ask that you do not turn up early for your flight, or if you do, you may need to stay in your car until your allocated time
• Only one person or family group will be allowed in the reception area at a time
• Face coverings must be worn at all times when in the Polar hangar and offices
• You will be asked to sign a declaration that you haven’t had any symptoms of COVID19 or been in contact with anyone who has
• All pilot, student and passenger’s temperatures may be taken before flight and anyone testing over 37.8°C will be requested to leave and rebook in 14 days
• Face coverings must be used during each flight – we would request that you bring your own but if you don’t have any, don’t worry, they will be available at Polar
• Hand sanitisers will be available for use in various locations on the premises
• A 2m social distance must be observed at all times whilst inside the building and in the car park or decking area. Where this is not practical please observe a 1m distance with a mask/face covering
